A proton is a positively charged subatomic particle that makes up the nucleus of an atom. It was first named by Ernest Rutherford in 1920, using the Greek word meaning “first”. The number of protons in an atomic nucleus determines the atomic number of an element, defining its properties and enabling its identification. Protons move through matter at high speed, but slow down when they are attracted by oppositely charged particles, creating bonds that result in the formation of atoms.
Just like our subatomic namesake, in Proton Med Serbia we identify with the characteristics of protons: we carry a “positive charge” in our mentality, we strive to redefine the way of doing business in our sector, we move and adapt quickly thanks to our flexible and dynamic corporate structure, but at the same time we are ready to slow down and cooperate with like-minded people. And, of course, we always strive to be the “first” in our field.
