About Proton Med
Welcome to the official Proton Med Serbia website.
A proton is a subatomic particle, with a positive electric charge, present in the nucleus of an atom. It was named initially by Ernest Rutherford in 1920, using a Greek word that translates as “first”. The number of protons in an atoms nucleus is what defines its atomic number, giving each element characteristics by which it can be defined and identified. Protons tend to move through matter at high speeds, but will slow down when attracted to opposite charged particles, in order to form bonds that result in atoms.
Much like our subatomic namesake, we here at Proton Med Serbia can all identify with the characteristics of a proton: we carry a “positive charge” in our mentality, we aim to re-define the way business is done in our sector, we like moving at great speed, with great flexibility thanks to our versatile corporate structure, but we are also willing to “slow ourselves down”, in order to collaborate with likeminded partners.
And of course, we always strive to be the “first” in our field.
